Frequently Asked Questions
Who is Gail?
I’m a local pastor, ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF), with over 30 years of experience in congregations across the United States. I’m also a board-certified chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains.
What does “The Gospel According to Gail” mean?
The four New Testament Gospels are titled “The Gospel According to…” Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The word “gospel” just means “good news,” but in this context, it alludes to the story of God working in the world through the person of Jesus, who is called Christ. This phrase, “Gospel According to Gail,” to me implies an articulation of the good news as made manifest in my own life and walk with Christ.
